brown girls invented eyebrows so jot that down
The fact that it’s illegal to be gay in 75 countries and that homosexuality is punishable by death in 10 countries and you can be refused service because of your homosexuality and you still can’t get gay married everywhere people still have the audacity to talk about straight pride as if straight people face any of the same kind of discrimination that LGBT people do just makes me SO ANGRY
In Dutch, when you boil an egg and then place it into cold water to make it easier to peel an egg, it’s called “to scare” the eggs.
One day when I was about 6 or 7, my mom asked me to “scare” the eggs. So, little joker I was, lifted the lid of the pan and yelled “BOOO!”
My mom cracked up and has been telling this story ever since, for over 20 years. She’s come to love the story and still truly thinks that I wanted to really “scare” the eggs. Truth is I knew what “scaring an egg” meant and only wanted to make her laugh because she was in a sad place and time back then.
It’s made her laugh for over 20 fucking years, that means it’s the best joke I’ve ever pulled off and I’d die before I’d let her find out I was just kidding.
it’s so dumb that piercings and tattoos can impact your ability to find a job. employers shouldn’t be allowed to discriminate based on gender, race, sexual orientation, or level of punk-rockness
If you were about to have a surgery done, would you feel comfortable if she/he had gages and tattoos all over their face?
I mean presumably they went to medical school I literally would not give a single shit what they decided to put on their face
My first major surgery was done by a clean cut, gorgeous man with a French accent.
Didn’t stop him from fucking up my surgery and losing his license to practice here because he liked to do cocaine before surgery.
Its almost like how someone looks doesn’t dictate their qualifications.
*mic drop*
I would always raise my hand in 3rd grade, and my teacher would NEVER pick on me. She’d always choose the same handful of smart kids over and over again. One time there was a really challenging problem, and finally after picking all the smart kids FIRST, she called on me and was shocked I got it right. Kids pick up these signals. Why are people like this lmao
I actually tried participating in like grade 1, and the teacher would never pick me unless I didn’t know the answer and didn’t raise my hand, and I basically never tried to participate again for the next 12 years
